International Wings Group provides air ambulance services that ensure an efficient and safe transportation for you and your loved ones. Our medical team of dedicated professionals can have the appropriate medevac aircraft available in minimum of 4 hours notice. Each aircraft can be configured into a mini intensive care unit that handles ALS, BLS and critical care patients. A pre-flight medical assessment is conducted on all patients to ensure that we have the appropriate medical team and equipment on board to safely move the patient(s).
Our medical staff are deployed from one of the key group subsidiaries – Abdali Medical Centre. Each staff member is selected based on education, experience, certification and professionalism. State licensing and staff continuing education is maintained for each staff member. All medical team members actively practice in the healthcare field, maintain current state and national licensures and possess current ACLS. The patient’s condition determines specific requirements and as such, the appropriate medical staff are deployed for the flight. Each patient will be escorted by a specialized doctor and nurse.
Our Medevac Medical Director is certified in Emergency Medicine and General Surgery.
They all have BLS, ACLS and ATLS certificates issued by the AHA (American Heart Association) and attended Aviation Medicine training at the Jordan Paramedic Society.
All physicians in our medical team are board certified in intensive care and emergency medicine. They also through extensive annual trainings, including dynamic human patient simulation under the direction of our Medical Director.
Team members are proficient in airway management (intubation, airway access, ventilator setup and management), vascular access, and IV and medication delivery.
We transport patients with the following cases
Patients of all ages and who are on all levels of ventilator support, including: nasal cannula, CPAP, non-invasive ventilation and invasive ventilation.
Multi-system trauma patients.
Patients with burns.
Patients with severe head injuries; ICP monitoring.
Gunshots/RTA patients.
Adult, pediatric and neonates with specialized pulmonary issues such as nebulizers and trachs.
Neonatal isolette.
Oxygen for long distance/international flights.
